Supported Files - Bank Statements, Invoices, and Receipts
The tool accepts digital PDFs, phone photos, and scanned documents. It automatically detects what each file contains - a bank statement with transactions or an invoice to be matched. No need to pre-sort or rename anything.
File Formats
- PDF - digital invoices, bank statement exports, scanned documents. Text-based PDFs are parsed directly; image-only PDFs are processed with OCR.
- JPG / JPEG - photos of receipts and invoices taken with your phone camera.
- PNG - screenshots, scanned receipts, and digital invoice exports.
Bank Statements
Drop a bank statement PDF and the tool will automatically detect the format and extract all transactions. Currently supported banks:
- Revolut - both the current CSV-style PDF export and the older legacy format with CAR/MOS/MOA markers.
- SLSP (Slovenska sporitelna) - card statements and SPACE account exports, including the concatenated-date format.
- Tatra banka - standard account statement PDFs with debit and credit transactions.
Currencies and Number Formats
The parser handles European number conventions: comma as decimal separator and space as thousands separator (e.g., “1 600,00” is parsed as 1600.00). Supported currencies include EUR, USD, GBP, CZK, PLN, HUF, and CHF. The tool detects currency from symbols and labels automatically.
When a receipt currency differs from the transaction currency, the app shows both amounts so you can verify the conversion. Learn more about how data is extracted on the Invoice OCR page.
